Old Skool 2K8

Updated my truck a bit from a leafer.

This came about after two years away and a week of binedit reeducation.

I couldn't grab a decent pic of it though so if anyone could help, feel free.

Let me know what needs to be fixed or suggestions are always welcome.

Thanks,
Scott

I've also found out the hard way that the name length can make it not appear if it is too many characters.

Old Thread, but just adding another solution I didn't see listed already.

I forgot how...

Just got back from deployment to the middle east, and it's been about 5 months since I touched bin edit. Now that I'm back into my project, I am doing fine... EXCEPT for this...

I have a face made for 4 points, but I need to do the OTHER side of it also, what was the trick for making the face and ...

Running Scared

This is based from Radical Rescue by JBrossack aka RuddRulez. There was no readme file, so I wanted to make sure he got his credit first.

This was my first attempt at messing with verts and faces. I wound up taking the light off the roof, and messed with the faces/textures.

I happened to be watch ...

Thanks, I never go too far... but this is probably the most involved I've been into it now that I actually understand the truck/track editing. :D

Thanks for the PSP tip. I just figured it ran out eventually.

As for the photoshop, I have been doing some stuff in it, saving it, and then opening it up in PSP so that I can reduce the colors.

Hey Rep,

Just uploaded Yella. It's a little better now that I used one of your trucks. Take a look at the wheels if you get a chance.

This isn't done yet, but here is a preview of the wheels. Older Ford hubcaps. I can send you the bin if you like.

Sorry Rep, didn't refresh the page when I replied...

Yes, everything is installed the way you described as well.

I'll try your page and see how it works from there.

Thanks

Yes, that is the same thing I'm talking about.

After I unzipped the bin originally, I just swapped the body off of a different truck in truck editor and make a pod. That's when I was trying to unzip it since I thought maybe it would work if it was deleted and unzipped from a pod that worked in the ...

Deleted the all the repfoot models, Checked the pod with c-pod, and the info file wasn't in there.

Extracted the pod and there was still no info file.

When trying to open the model in bin edit again it came up with the same error.

Was hoping that it was just me having problems.

Oh well, scrap ...

Same error I was getting. I still get the pootiepie error even when I deleted the info file.

Wondering if I should delete the pot I had made of it when I was playing around with it.

REP Foot Bin

I DLed the REPFOOT bin from Malibu's page, but anytime I try to load it into bin edit, I get an error and cannot load it. I can add it in Truck Editor, but that is all I can do with it. Anyone else have this problem?

The truck looks like the pic when I played it here before I uploaded it. All the solid light/teal blue. Could be that MY computer is messed up as well and it looked okay, but it's really not.

What program did you use to take the picture of the truck? I tried to use MTMSnap, but it came out all funky colors. I wound up using GOLD options to get a snapshot? Yours definitely looks better.
